How does one know if it has an m.2 slot based on the modelnumber?

When you enter your machine code (for example, my machine code is 81H9003VGE) in the Lenovo Partslookup page, the page shows you exactly which motherboard is being used on models with this machine code, and the webpage also commonly has images of the parts built-in, and we check the images of the exact motherboard or similar models and see if we can find like a M.2 slot or see how many RAM slots we find.

Well, as you can see in the red circle, your device is not fitted with a M.2 slot.

What you can do is to remove the standard HDD and replace it with an SSD. Also, your laptop doesn't have any RAM stick (besides the soldered-on 4GB), so you might want to throw in another 4GB stick for 8GB and full dual-channel capabilities. If you don't care so much for full dual-channel, you can officially install an 8GB stick. Most users, though, also report 16GB sticks to be working (and even some are listed in the Hardware Maintenance Manual) (which would give you 20GB, but only the first 8GB of those 20GB will work in dual-channel mode).

It Is a DDR4-2400MHz SODIMM stick you will want to buy. And should you also ask where you can buy that stuff, I cannot tell you as I am not from the Philippines.

Thank you for your immediate response, appreciate it.

But may I ask why did you recommend a 2400?

My laptop is using 2133, please see attached image.

Because the price difference is basically nonexistent and faster memory will be automatically downclocked anyway, that's why I recommended it. I also know that your laptop only supports 2133MHz, so that is nothing new to me. By the way, pressing Print on the keyboard will create a screenshot which you can then paste into Paint and save it, that's how you don't need to photograph your screen.

Understood, yeah I am aware of taking screenshot but I just booted my laptop just to confirm the ram speed. I am using my phone so it's more convenient hehe.

Anyways I appreciate you taking time to answer my queries. I hope you're doing good and may you have a great day.

Salamat from PH

Lenovo Partslookup has images (albeit lower-quality) of your motherboard, and no, you don't have an M.2 slot for anything but the wireless adapter. 320e is, by the way, just the selling name in your region. It is actually a standard 320.
