LENOVO IDEAPAD 700 15ISK - M2 SSD ADATA SX6000

2019-04-03, 17:28 PM

Hello all,

I have just bought a new M2 SSD ADATA SX 6000 and I added to my laptop, but I cannot see this SSD in the BIOS.

What I did wrong?

Also, I have tried to update the BIOS to the latest version but this didn't help. :(

Can please someone help me?

The 700-15ISK was first produced about three years ago. At that time, the BIOS that Lenovo used was quite restrictive in the NVMe SSDs that were supported.  Samsung worked OK, but other manufacturers did not.

I have no specific knowledge of the Adata NVMe SSD. It is possible that your sample is defective, but it is also possible that it is not supported by the BIOS.  If you have installed the most recent BIOS, and the Adata still is not recognised, it is unlikely that there will be a future BIOS update to allow it to work.
