Lenovo C340-14API 81N6 touch screen not working.

2020-09-27, 16:51 PM

Hopefully some one can help on this one.

Lenovo C340-14API 81N6, touch isn't working after fitting a new screen.

There is no hid complaint touch screen in human interface devices in device manager.

I've triple checked all the leads. The screen comes on, the screen auto rotates when you flip the screen over into tablet mode, just no touch.

I've went through every device to make sure it's enabled and not hidden.

I've updated all drivers, reinstalled graphics drivers, installed the latest bios, updated windows 10 to latest release.

I've since connected the old screen (which is broken) I have it connected to an external monitor via hdmi to test, and it still doesn't show the hid complaint touch screen in the device manager.

There are three devices in the device manager under other devices, aap server, serialport, wireless IAP v2

I've ran the Lenovo system update, but doesn't find anything.

I have two i2c hid device in the device manager, if I uninstall these the touchpad stops working (see photo of device manager)

Does anyone know the part number for the cable that connects to the LCD panel and touch sensor.

Hi Staking,

Does your new screen support touch screen ? Maybe you can try to calibrate it first.

Is it working if using active pen ?

Regards,
