Lenovo Flex 5 Ideapad 14" Screen

2020-09-22, 13:47 PM

Hello, I've been using the Lenovo Flex 5 for a few weeks until something happened. My dad had accidentally dropped the laptop (Bottom had hit the floor) when he was trying to sit at the table where it was placed. Only then did I decide to see if all the bits in pieces were still in place. I noticed the screen was crooked/placed more to the right than to the left (This could have been how it was when I opened it but I didn't check) (I.E more screen on the right than the left) Would this be something that can be covered by Costco and Lenovo warranty?

Hi AFanOfLapops,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

The base warranty that came with the machine do not cover accidental damage.

Device should have a separated purchase warranty / Accidental Damage Protection (ADP) to cover it.

Options can be having it taken to nearest service center for the repair support.

I hope this helps answer your query.
