Lenovo Ideapad Flex 15 HDD partitioning scheme?

2015-07-10, 13:05 PM

Does anyone know what each of the HDD partitions on the Lenovo Flex 15 are for?

I have a Ideapad Flex 15 running Win 8.1 and it has several "recovery partitions". The HDD is divided like this:

1000mb (RP); 260mb(EFI System Part); 1000mb(OEM Part); 423GB Win8 (C:); 1.46GB Lenovo OneKey (D:); 1000mb (RP); Unallocated part; 13.2GB (RP)

RP = recovery partition.

Do I need all these partitions, and can I safely get rid of some these RPs? I want to try to clean-up and consolidate the drive before installing an SSD.
