Lenovo S340 can not detect monitor/TV HDMI

2020-02-16, 18:29 PM

Hello everybody,

Unfortunately I am unable to get my Lenovo S340 to detect a monitor or TV through HDMI cable.

What I tried until now is to update the driver in the device manager and get the latest drivers for the display on the Lenovo support page and yes I tried to change to extend/duplicate from windows+P combo.

Also tried multiple HDMI cables.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

Lenovo S340 can not detect monitor/TV HDMI

Hi mate! Could you find a solution to this issue? I have spent the best part of today updating all drivers, ensuring recommended boot mode in BIOS - all to no avail. Let me know if anything worked for you

I suggest you guys try and trouble shoot whether the screen cable is the problem Bios or the screen itself, i had my lenovo ideapad 300 15isk screen cable fail on me after i replaced my screen and before that i had a black screen because of windows update and lastly i had a terribly long boot time screen was also black for about 30mins to 1hr because my HDD was wailing on me, it had about 30 read and 20 write speeds. So i think you guys should check: 1.) Screen cable. 2.) lcd. 3.) Hard drives. 4.) Windows update.
