Lenovo flex 2-15 Fan Problem

2019-04-04, 18:15 PM

Hi all,

I've been having some trouble with my fan. It will occasionally go off really hard, for apparently no reason - it even does it when it's powered up, or powering down. It is occasionally triggered if the laptop is tipped a little, or moved around. It sounds like a lawn mower, and the whole laptop shakes. The computer is not overheating, and the fan has recently been cleaned out and checked - nothing is loose or broken inside. I have lowered the maximum CPU, and updated the Lenovo System Interface Foundation Driver, but it's made no difference.

Can anyone advise me of what is wrong, or how it could be fixed?
