New Lenovo ideapad 710s

2017-04-27, 11:11 AM

Okay so I've had this computer less than 3 months and it's given me nothing but problems. Now it refuses to even turn on. The power LED turns on but the screen remains blank. This is an non removal battery type before anyone says remove the battery and use the adapter. I've drained the battery which has worked before but this time when I try to charge it the orange battery LED blinks three times. And still nothing on the screen. Any Lenovo stores are quite far away. Anyone knows what's going on?

Hi EriBee ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Initially you may try the power management mode as described pressing F10 (page 25).

You can also review the status LED indicators when connected and not connected with the charger.

If the issue is still persistent then it would be best to give technical support a call for possible hardware issue specially if connecting the machine to an external display is the same blank screen.

Hope this help answer your query.

Update us how it goes.

Regards
