Hi there Shamick.

Welcome to the Community Forums.

On some keyboards the num-lock needs to be off for the Print screen button to work. Test it with and without.  Also test the Print Screen button by holding the FN key, then pressing Print Screen.

You can also try to close all running programs (including the ones running in the background... check in the notification area) and try again. Some programs like OneDrive, Dropbox, Snipping tool can take over the Print Screen key.

Alternately, try:

ALT + PrintScreen - Open Paint and paste the image from clipboard.

WinKey + PrintScreen -This saves teh screenshot to a PNG file in Pictures\Screenshots folder. Use Fn + WinKey + PrintScreen for laptops.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Re:PrtSc button not working

This was an older post, but *I* just found it looking for a solution to the Print Screen (PrtSC) button not working on my Legion 7. For me, at least, the problem was that in Citrix Workspace receiver, they enabled App Protection starting with version 1912.

Exit the Citrix app running in the hidden icons area and you may find that your print screen has started working again. I just rolled back to version 1911 because we rarely need Citrix Workspace, and then only for a quick check of a schedule.

Two policies provide anti-keylogging and anti-screen-capturing capabilities for a Citrix HDX session. The policies along with a minimum of Citrix Workspace app 1912 for Windows, Citrix Workspace app 2001 for Mac, or Citrix Workspace app 2108 for Linux can help protect data from keyloggers and screen scrapers.

PrtSc button not working

This was the solution for me. System tray icon for Citrix Workspace right-click and Exit.
