Touchscreen not working Flex 14

I have had my laptop for a little over a year and my touchscreen just stopped working out of the blue. I have tried everything suggested everywhere and it still doesn't work. I have completely restored it about 3 times, I have tried to update driver on HID  compliant touch device, I have uninstalled it and tried to install the HiD compliant back (once I had to restore it to get it back), I have click view hidden items and scanned for changes in hardware, I have used a 3rd party program to help find different drivers, I have scanned for updated drivers on the Lenovo sight (after letting it detect my serial #), and etc... You name it and I have tried it.

Although I have had my laptop for over a year, it hasn't had that much use. I work on a computer everyday and I only have to use this one every now and then. I bet day for day, it hadn't had a solid 6mths of use. I am very discouraged by this. I picked this brand, because I was told it was the best. I am not seeing that so far. 

The computer itself works great, but I purchased the computer to be able to fold back and use like a tablet. Without the touchscreen, this is a useless feature. Can anyone name anythng I haven't tried? I am so frustrated, I am about to switch over to Mac. :(

what`s the product ID and windows version of your netbook?
first.check the device is ok in device manager-human interface devices
second.you can use the lenovo vantage to upgrete the latest driver

Not sitting in front of it at the moment, so I will have to get back to you on the Product ID. Whenever I try to update the driver, it says the best one is already installed.

When I tried to uninstall it and install it back, the device quit showing up. I had to restore my computer just to get it back. I went to the site and tried to upload all the latest drivers and still ended up with the same results. 

It acts like the Touch Screen just stopped working, because it shows up in device manager, but it doesn't work. I am surprised at this, because I think it is just barely out of warranty. I get confused because the first one I purchased just quit working at all after a week. I took it back to the store and they swaped it out for me and now I am having problems with this one.

the way of check product ID is win+r and the input "msinfo32",You need to provide the following information,
1,OS version
2.system model
3.system SKU

After many confirmations, the current solution for your touchscreen
1. Check the driver or firmware by Windows update.(Enter "check for updates" in the search box in the lower left corner)
2. If you still can't solve your problem, please go to the after-sales center for hardware check.
I hope to solve your doubts.

I have the same problem. After resetting it and update the Window on the device manager it state

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

However, I would restart it and sometime the touch would work but sometime it would occur again.

They should do a recall. Mines was just outside the warranty.

ught it so I could fold the lid back and use it like a tablet at times. Without the touchscreen, then its just another laptop. :(

My company has ordered 100 of the Flex 14 (Flex 6-14IKB) laptops.  The 1 year warranty is ending on many of them and in the last month, 3 already have touchscreens that have stopped working and 2 I have sent in for repair (just prior to warranty ending).  

 

I too have already tried the suggestions on these forums.  They are NOT fixing the issue.  Lenovo definitely will not get our next order of laptops until this issue is resolved.

 

Someone please post a fix!  One laptop had sat on the shelf in a box.  It was taken out with a month left in the 1 year warranty and the touchscreen doesn't work!
