Windows 10 fonts blurry on yogabook

2016-12-06, 17:33 PM

Hello,

I just bought my yogabook windows version. Its so strange that some fonts seams very blurry while others are perfectly fine.

Example: browsing on edge is working pwefectly while several pages under control panel are very blurry.

Is my yogabook display defected?

That's a Microsoft feature!
It's actually present on many machines.

Every w10 laptop I have used, has this same issue...  Check out somthing like device manager...  this is exactly what I am refering to.  See it all over the place, at many sites.  Seems to be a scaling issue, and I too have found no 100% way to fix it (have regular fonts large enough to read, and have the others sharp).  Good luck.

Should be fixed with Win10 1703 (Creators Update)
From what I heard from MSFT, there are five API's in Windwos available to ISV's.  It's up to the ISV's to write software using these API's.  This will help with the scaling issues found in Win10.

The control panel and computer management (MMC-types) will have their code update with creators update to improve clarity.  Try it out... : )
