Hello there,

It looks like your current model has a 1TB HDD.  You can either upgrade that HDD to an SSD with a 2.5" SATA SSD or you can add an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD... the one that you're referencing will work.

You can also add an 8GB stick of memory since your model currently only has 4GB soldered memory.  I do recommend adding DDR4-2400 memory since the chipset is only capable of that much and adding RAM higher than that frequency would essentially be a waste.

Hi rahul0090,

In addition, the highlighted part at the right region on the photo is the SSD slot on the motherboard, the highlight on the left side is the RAM slot where you can add a memory module.

Check on the user manual (page 36) as it shows how to replace the solid state drive.

I hope this helps.

Regards.

Hi there,

For the ideapad 330s-15IKB discussed on this thread, the storage drive you referenced (Crucial MX500 2.5" SATA SSD) will work, but the RAM you referenced is not compatible.  I recommend getting DDR4-2400 memory (though if you get something with a higher frequency it will still work).  Here's a link to a compatible 8GB memory stick: https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfs824a/ct12534508

Hope that helps!
