slide when it reaches the touchpad limit

2020-09-22, 17:14 PM

Hello! I bought a lenovo notebook, my first from that brand. A function that was very useful in the notebook I had was that, when I was selecting a text and reached the limit of the touchpad, the selection continued. Do you have any settings that I can activate? Or an application? Thank you!

Don't know about yours, but mine does that.
If I double tap (for selection or drag'n'drop) then move my finder on either of the 4 edges of the physical touchpad then the mouse continues to move in that direction.

Instead, it won't do that if I just move the mouse to the edge of the touchscreen without double tapping first (without starting the dragging action first)

Worth noticing that my touchpad (HID\VEN_MSFT&DEV_0004&Col01 ) uses Microsoft Precision Touchpad drivers by default. If you have other 3rd Party drivers (eg Synaptic, Elan) your mileage may vary as those implement gestures their own ways. Also, you forgot to specify anything about your current context: Laptop model for eg !
