100-15IBD - Doe removing the Lenovo sticker void warranty

I have a broken charger port on my Lenovo Ideapad 100-15IBD Model 80QQ.All I want to know is if you remove the Lenovo seal does it void your warranty? I cluelessly removed it trying to open after taking off my keyboard.

Mod's Edit: System model added to the front of Subject line to improve visibility / clarity.

Welcome to the Lenovo Community !

Technically the breaking of the seal does void the warranty, but the final determination is with the service center.   If you are looking to get the charger port repaired than I would suggest you check with your local Best Buy to see if there are an authorized Lenovo Service Center.  If they are then bring the laptop in an explain how the seal got broken to one of their service techs.

Re: 100-15IBD - Doe removing the Lenovo sticker void warranty

I heard some shady things about Geek Squad so I won't take any chances with them. I guess I have to convince my sister to take it to a local repair shop and look to see how much we have to pay to get it fix. Thanks for the suggestion anyways

and have a happy Labor Day.
