100-15IBD Laptop (ideapad) - Type 80QQ

Whenever I press a key on my keyboard my trackpad will freeze up, how do I fix this problem? I've had the problem since iI got the laptop but it didn't really have an effect on me until recently when I started playing some new games on my laptop. I've searched everywhere for suggestions but nothing works. Palmtracking seemed to be the big fix for a lot of people but that option box is greyed out for me I can't adjust it at all. Please help thank you

Hi there, Swagdaddy              -

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

You can start by flushing out all static, remove battery and AC adaptor and hold down power button for about 15 seconds.

Did you try to re-install the Elan drivers ?

Update us how it goes.

Sorry but how do i kill that process? And that was similiar to mine however the "palmcheck" slider that worked for that is not an option in my settings. The option is completely grayed out and I can't change the setting at all.
