Iam new to this fourm and am seeking help with the following.
I have removed the cd rom from my laptop and have replaced it with a ssd caddy.
I put the original boot disk in this caddy and a storage one in its place on the main board.
The problem i am having is that i can see both drives in bios but am unable to boot windows from the boot disk which i incerted into the cd rom caddy.
I would like to get this working as it would make it a lot easier for me to clone my boot drive in my docking station.
Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

Hi Aussiebigbob! Thanks for reaching our community.
You may need to configure the bios to boot to the SSD or disk you added. You may check this link https://lnv.gy/2J6PGoV it will show you how to boot to USB disk though it's different device but it is the same process. Just follow the steps provided and select the SSD or disk you added.
