Looking for guidance from experienced Lenovo users.
I have a one-year old Ideapad 310 15ABR AMD A12-9700P with 1TB HDD. I would like to upgrade the HDD to an SSD.
1. Can I use a SanDisk SSD PLUS 240GB Solid State Drive - SDSSDA-240G-G26 ?
2. The current HDD came with Windows 10. How can I move the entire operating system and drive contents to the SSD?

Your PSREF shows only spinner drives and 2.5 inch SSD in the same slot/area.
You may need special bracket and connector, page 98 of HMM.
They may already be inside your machine. You do have a spinner, so parts are there.
Create Recovery stick. Google search this. swap/restore. Enter RECOVERY in your win 10 search box.
Sans Disk 2.5 inch SSD is fine.

On Recovery. The application will create a recovery disk for my Windows 10. Once done, shall I then swap out the old disk with the SSD? What will happen when I boot the notebook if Windows 10 is not installed yet on the SSD? Do I need to format the SSD?
Once Windows 10 has been moved to SSD, how can I recover Office from the old drive? The software was installed without an install CD.
