I just purchased my LENOVO ideapad 310, a month ago. During my observation on its battery since I got it, its discharging time takes atmost 1 hour and 45 mins while its charging time takes atmost 4 hours. Given the fact that I am not using any application or software, it's not even connected to internet, just leaving it open, it drains so easy. I know its battery is below average but given the fact that its charging time consumes more compare to discharging, i am beginning to wonder if its still normal.
Your answer will be deeply appreciated thank you!

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
This should not be normal, has anything change recently on the unit that could`ve caused this, windows update, or hardware upgrade perhaps?
I so, I would attempte to revert back in orrder to confim if the issue will persists.
Also, try to run an LSC scan, see if this can find anything fo you:
Note: Please back up all your data as running this reset will delete any data on your machine
1. Turn the machine off and press the recovery button which is located usually next to the power button. If you have a desktop machine you will need to power the machine back on and keep tapping the F2 key.
2. Use the arrow keys and press enter on system recovery. ( Desktop users can skip this)
3. Select “restore from the initial backup” and then “Next”.
4. Click “start” and accept the warning messages.
Length of time can vary depending on the speed of the machine.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Check power settings to make sure your not in High Performance setting. Have to actually get into classic control panel to see more power management settings. Also check for any application that might prevent PC from entering sleep mode.

Best bet is go into settings "modern" then Update and look for troubleshooting on left. Select power troubleshooting and see if it detects any issues. At least it might tell you if a driver or something else is causing power consumption issues.
