I have one of these laptops and i have 2 questions.
1) What battery life should i expect from it during basis tasks like just surfing the www?
2) Can this battery be replaced by me when it no longer holds decent charge? If so, is there any instruction how to do this and where can i buy a battery from? I can't find any info on the net, perhaps as this is quite a new model (?)

Welcome to the Community Forums.
Tech specification for the battery : Up to 9 hours*(15"), Up to 12 hours (14") (MOBILEMARK)
You can review the hardware manual here as it describes the steps for removing the battery (page 35). Using parts lookup page here would allow you to get your specific battery part number to order from the service parts partners here aside from Lenovo Medion.
Hope this helps answer your query.

Thank you for your help - it has enabled me to find my the answers.
I post this response to complete the thread so that anyone with the same question in the future may find the information useful.
The battery is replacable but the back of the laptop must be removed to access it.
The battery model you need for Ideapad 320S models is L14M2P21. It is easy to install.
At time of writing this post, there are not many outlets / resellers for this battery. However i assume this is because the 320S is quite new to the market, in the coming months i would expect the batteries to be more available.
