Blank Screen after login

I have an ideapad flex 14. And just out of nowhere my screen went blank. So I turned it off. But when i went to turn it back on, i got to the login screen, put in my password and it loaded for a while and then just went blank. I can still see the mouse icon, and can access task manager and load apps through that, but behind it all its just blank. Any help please??

I’m sorry to hear that you Flex 14 is booting to black screen and can access the Task Manager to open the applications, please let me know if the issue occurred after making any software changes in the computer.

Hi CliveK26,

As the issue started after updating the computer, I suggest you to perform System Restore in the computer to a previous date. To access “System Restore”>Open Task Manager>File>New Task (Run)>in Create New Task>Type rstrui.exe and click OK to open System Restore. Below is the link with steps to perform “System Restore”:

I am having the same problem. The thing is I connect my cell phone to the laptop through usb 3 spot, and after I turned off and turned on again, it is blank after I logged in. Should I try the same method as above?

I bought my ideapad flex 2 14" today. And after working andinstalling it all afternoon, this evening while looking at youtube vids. My screen suddenly went totally black. If you look very very very closely you can still kinda see the image. When connecting to external screen, everything works perfect. Even the touch!
What to do??
