Can anyone help? Ideapad 100s

Hi all

ive been having issues with a laptop- have had help before but I still not booting up. It reads the windows 10 media but gets to 50% then says error.

So so I downloaded recovery media and that usb not even being recognised in boot set up.

So so I went into command prompt to trouble shoot and I’ve had this pop up x:\windows\system32

i thoight it was meant to be c: ?

The thing is, what are you trying to accomplish with the command prompt when your Windows is not booting up?

Well, upon loading from a USB stick or optical medium, the Windows PE boot image (which is being used for setup, the one you are seeing right now) is being loaded into the RAM, and the x:\ drive is the RAM disk Windows PE image with its few tools in that environment. That's why it is x:\

Although you can access the system drive in this mode, just enter like c: in the command prompt and check if this is the system drive.
