Does the Lenovo Thinkpad Active Pen work for Ideapad?

I recently bought a Lenovo Thinkpad Active Pen, and got it today. I put it all together and realized that Thinkpad and my Ideapad Flex 4 are totally different comuters. I was wondering if it would still work or not. Should I return the pen and get a new one? If so, which type of pen should i get? Thanks!

Hi AKopp ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

For Flex 4 you just need a capacitive pen

Here is a pen great for writing: http://www.adonit.net/jot/pro/
Just search for 'best capacitive stylus' on Google. Pick the one you like most

A capacitive pen would be anything that mimics your finger on your touch screen display and don't share the features of an active pen.  More about the different pens here for reference.

Hope this help answer your query.

Regards
