My Edge 2-15 Lenovo Laptop just didn't want to boot up. We were able to eventually get to the start screen and opened the task manager, it seems windows defender component is taking up a lot of memory. Tried to do a safe restart but didn't work. Help!

Me again! At this point (after 2 lost days of work!) We don't have anything special saved on there, it's all in the cloud (scary), so a reset would be awesome. My partner tried the a USB boot (since the battery is integrated and we can't remove and there are no cd/dvd drives, we made a usb flash drive). No success. Also: It's been 'upgraded' to windows 10.
