i am in need of some help! My Lenovo Edge 2 just recently stopped taking a charge. I replaced the battery thinking that would help, but it keeps saying plugged in and charging but does not charge. The battery icon says it’s charging and moves showing charging but the percentage keeps going down.

It is possible there is a problem with the charger, I suggest trying another charger, and if that does not help, then you will be facing some sort of hardware issue.
In this case, I would recommend that you get in touch wit hyour local Lenovo support line for a possible service on the unit.
