FLEX 4 Warranty question

Hello All,


My Flex 4-1580 just got back from the Lenovo Repair Center, where they fixed the backlight and the microphone. Thrilled, I opened it up and proceeded to play games on it for a few hours, then closed the laptop. When I come back and open it up, the top of the screen is cracked and the touch is permanantly clicking at the top of the page.


Upon further investigation, I noticed that the screen case was not properly reinstalled, as there are gaps that did not exist before I sent the laptop to Lenovo. I want to know if this repair is covered by my original Lenovo Manufacturer's Warranty, as I have a third-party warranty that explicitly covers ADH repairs. I would assume that Lenovo would cover it, as the damage here was caused by their oversight, but I wanted to make sure. I'm going to call their customer service number when it opens tomorrow. Reply if you'd like an update with how it goes!

Have it reported immediately to notify technical support about what you noticed on the top cover upon receiving the laptop from repair. If you are within the United States then you can directly call the tech team as they are available 24 /7  phone 877-453-6686.


This way you both parties would be able to plan how to proceed best.
