Flex 15 Battery Life

I can't believe that the battery would just stand for appr. 3 hrs after full load on my Flex 2-15 (< 2 yrs old) considering this environment:

- running W10

- HDD replaced by SSD

- shutdown / battery saving features enabled like shutoff screen, turn off HDD after 5 mins

- typically running only on 60% brightness

- AV-programm with small footprint ( just NOD32 AV)

- no background active apps except mail

- 99% just browsing and mailing ( once in a while some youtube videos or lifestream)

Any suggestions? Battery already semi-dead ? Or are there any improvement hints around?

Re: Flex 15 Battery Life

Thanks, Shashi, for your quick reply.

As I am quite familiar with all these engergy saving options.
The question was not how to squeeze the longest runtime out of my box ( I am a computer service professional) but more or less whether the <> 3 hrs mentioned seem to be normal ( e.g. I do not want to turn off/off bluetooth whenever needed or to reduce WLAN power upon local environment) in a standard (whatever that is) configuration and usage profile.

Also I do not want to control any update mechanisms in the back just to have a longer runtime.

The spec sheets stated around 6-8 hours and I wondered whether these measurements were taken in a special energy saving configuration (which one is it) to show better marketable figures or I have to take it seriously and may be running a worn out battery........
