Flex 2-14 Won't Charge, Please Help!

Hey guys,

I know this isn't exactly a unique problem but all the old threads I found didn't solve the issue.

My battery is currently sitting at 23% plugged in right now and won't charge. At first, I thought there was trouble with my adapter because it used to say ''not charging'' while plugged in. A new cord when I first plugged it in it said "charging'' but the % never went up and after awhile, it too switched to ''not charging''. If I switch cords it will say ''charging'' for a bit then switch back to ''not charging.''

Following the old threads, I've downloaded ''Lenovo Companion'', ''Energy Manager'' and ''OneKey Optimizer'' and all of them say my hardware is fine.

I already tried deleting and reinstalling the Microsoft AC Adapter and that didn't work either.

Another recommened I upgrade BIOS but it won't let me since my battery is too low, even though it's plugged up.

I am totally lost right now and I'd really appreciate the help if you can, thanks!

Hi Bingqiling,

Welcome to the community, From the description provided the most likely cause is a fault in the battery itself. I might be worth changing the battery for a new one and seeing if you still get the issues.
