Not came across this before, but, Try to download the Video and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.
Make sure to reboot after an update on the unit.

I was still getting odd lines on my browser every once in a while, but that was resolved by updating the intel driver using windows instead. I went into the device manager, right clicked on intel hd graphics, and searched online for an update. Laptop works perfect now and seems to load faster than it did before. Hope this helps someone.
The drivers had all been updated from Lenovo previously and it did not fix the problem. It is a strange one as the computer has a Geforce video card. I've no idea why updating the Intel graphics driver should affect anything, but it does.
