I went to start using my Flex 3 this morning and discovered the following issues:
-Keyboard is all messed up - most keys result in the number "6" with a few exceptions.
-Mousepad won't work
-Wifi won't turn on
-USB port closest to the network and hdmi ports doesn't work.
-Fan runs constantly
Everything else appears fine (Touch Screen, running programs, other USB ports) but I have not tried the network and hdmi ports yet.. The last thing I did before shutting down last night was install icloud for Windows. I tried uninstalling it.
Could this even really be a software issue? Wondering if this is something someone else has encountered.
My experience tells me this is most likely a hardware issue.
Lastly, it figures that the warranty expired almost exactly 3 weeks ago.

Thanks for using the forums.
Yeah, most of these guys seem to run out of juice around the time the warranty would end.
If you got a proof of purchase, the Lenovo support should be able to update it for you. Just contact your local line, below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers
Try a static discharge for this, it may help to resolve the issue or at least get rid of any built up static on the motherboard.
(If the battery is internal, please just skip the remove/replace battery steps.)
1. Turn the unit off
2. Remove the battery and the Mains adapter
3. Press and hold the front power button for 30 seconds
4. Replace the battery and the Mains adapter
5. Turn the unit on as normal
Hope this help you, let us know how you get on

By any chance, would the exceptions be as following:
LCtrl=4, LShift=s, Esc=1, comma=e, F3=2, F12=x, Delete (not on num pad)=f, 7=w, w=3, f=q
I'm curious as to why most of them are 6. It happened to mine, too. And the same USB port, as well as the one beside that one, have ceased to function. Although, I got my Wifi working by resetting the adapter. IPv4 had stopped working, leaving only IPv6. (ironic, because my IPv6 used to be inexplicably broken until it fixed itself about a year ago)
Also, my speakers don't seem to work. And the fan seems like it's always on the highest speed, but maybe it's always been like it is now. HDMI does work, though.
If this is a hardware issue, then I'm really screwed. I can't afford a new computer. Especially if it's going to suddenly stop working overnight at 1.5 years (576 days) old.
And I don't get how it would happen overnight. It worked just fine a little over 12 hours ago.
Did you turn it on then back off (starting and ending in sleep mode) with the lid closed, by any chance?
Also, my power indicator LED is blinking. And I'm using the laptop (with an external keyboard) to type this. So it's not in sleep mode. And I keep reaching over the external keyboard to use the much nicer integrated keyboard. It still doesn't work, no matter how much my subconscious believes it does.

It seems to be a hardware issue. An oddly specific one.
It may sound generic, but disconnecting the internal battery (and AC power) and waiting a bit before reconnecting actually fixed the issue.
