Would you have the machine number from the sticker or get it from here so that we would be able to know specific details and upgrade possible for your RAM . Just keep the serial number confidential.
Offered FRU list from the hardware manual would show specifications of memory you would need and you can download it from the support website (type in your machine type then choose the documentation tab ) .

... Although I know the specicication for the single RAM slot Flex 3 14" and 15" call for 8GB max, has anyone here installed a 16GB module? and was it recognised and used or was it a no go?
