I ask for kindness
I'm tempted to replace my HDD with an Sdd (I have a Lenovo z50-70 with w.10 installed)
at the same time, however, given the inactivity of the CD player (which I practically never used) I would like to replace it with the HDD removed
I ask according to you there are housing problems in putting HDD instead of the CD player? and the SDD instead of the HDD?
Furthermore, if I put SDD in the CD player it cannot be used as a boot disk of the s.o. and install the s.o on the SDD that I have lodged in the CD compartment avoiding the HDD displacement supplied?
I saw this costing little from 120

I is possible to replace current HDD with SSD and then place the HDD to the optical drive bay replacing it with a caddy. Other manage to make the same SSD bootable while using the old HDD as additional storage.
I hope this helps answer your query.

The highlighted links above can give you the details others have choosen. It is mentioned about the caddy too. Size of the SSD to replace the HDD is basically the same size of the original.
About the caddy of choice, since it is not an OEM product we cannot guarantee 100% so it is the same reason why we can check those that others have tried for better odds.
