HDMI Port does not work Lenovo 100 -15IBD 80QQ I3

Hello,

I purchased Lenovo 100 15IBD 80QQ - 15.6" - core i3 Laptop.

unfortunately, the HDMI port when connecting to the TV does not work.

Need help to solve .

From your findings, it does look like there's a problem with the HDMI port or with the HDMI cable. 

Things that you can try:

 

  1. Try the HDMI cable on another PC and ensure it’s firmly connected to rule it out as the possible culprit.

If the problem remains, last thing that you can do is to press the OneKey Recovery button to restore the unit to factory settings (ensure you backup important files). If problem remains after that then it's definitely a problem with the port

Hello ,

 

Many thanks for your reply. The same HDMI cable (3m) works on connecting between ACER laptop and the TV .

However, I purchased a new HDMI cable  (1.5 M) when connected with Lenovo Laptop and TV it works.

I am happy that HDMI port works.
