I hop this will work ...follow the below steps to resolve it.

  • Open Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Configure a device.
  • The Hardware Troubleshooter will open. You can set it to fix the detected problems automatically or select and opt to fix only the one’s you want.
  • Click Next to run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter. Once the scan is completed, it will present you with a report.
  • Choose the ones you want to fix and click on Next.
  • The Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter will try to fix the problems for you.

Hi Limbu123,

Greetings.

As there are a lot of factors that can affect decrease in battery, it usually goes with age from time of manufacturing and then usage and external factors like device consumption and usage.

Having the machine connected to the charger at most times directs the power needs to the charger instead of the battery. With the OEM battery overcharging buffered at 95% preventing frequent 100% charge. Other major factor is internal heat that should be maintained at lower value to prevent battery degradation.

Value of full charge capacity is non reversible so it is expected a certain level of battery decrease in full charge capacity over time. Battery shelf life is a normal degration even outside the machine.

Here are some steps to help prolong the battery. This includes those mentioned above and decreasing brightness when not ac connected.

Remove other peripherals connected to the machine as some would also disable the Always On USB under Configuration in the BIOS. Some would go disconnect from the network like going on airplane mode, disable fast startup and even disable Connected Standby

You can also check what things are consuming the battery under Setting> Battery saver > battery use.

Finally as most battery have one year warranty for consumable parts from the OEM, if it goes down significantly like near 50% within the year then call in technical support for in-warranty intervention specially if all firmware and BIOS is updated.

I hope this helps answer your query.

Regards
