hi all ,
i had bought the Lenovo ideapad 310-15ISK , 2TB HDD with windows 10 preloaded on it already . the performance of the laptop was extremely slow and bad , i made many complains and no one has replied, finally looking into the problem i found out that the HDD is the reason being very slow and always loaded on 100% ... so i decided to go for an additional SSD , used the CD-ROM cuddy for adding a new 240GB SSD .
Question is , how can i change boot to be from the new SSD ? , and how to install windows 10 again on the new SSD ? i cant find the original windows 10 iso file or product key ..where does lenovo store the original windows installation files ?
i cant clone the current HDD as i've installed many programs and size is beyond 240GB now so it will be extremely hard to clone it to the new SSD . i prefer to do fresh windows installation .. kindly advise what to do ?

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.
You should be able to use the following to create an installation media: LINK
If you do do a fresh installation, make sure you have your data backed up, as its best to format the drives when you do a fresh install, or so I`ve found.
You should be able to change the boot order when you are in the BIOS, just like how you would install the OS again from a CD or USB.
Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
