Hello. I have Lenovo IdeaPad 100-15IBD 80QQ Notebook. I decided to upgrade 4GB RAM to 8GB but I find that it is hard to choose right one. Couple of days before I went to a shop and tried to SK Hynix 8GB DDR3L SO-DIMM (image is below) but my computer didn't start. I don't understand the reason. All of the specs are compatible to notebook. So, I looked at the Hardware Maintenance Manual, which shows only 4 8GB RAMs.
According to manual, HMT41GS6BFR8A-PB is compatible. But the RAM that I tried to upgrade is HMT41GS6AFR8A-PB. Is it the main reason why my notebook didn't open or the RAM is broken?

I looked other substitutes - and fine. If it's not make problem, any substitute must fit. I didn't buy faulty ram - and you claimed it is faulty (looks terrible in the photo really). I still using my 4GB. Thanks for the answer. You're best.
