I am desperately in need of getting to install Win 7 Professional on my IdeaPad 120s which I recently purchased.
The reason I need that particular OS is due to a certain software this computer is supposed to be assigned for (car diagnostics). That software cannot run with any other OS, and I don`t plan to use the computer for anything else.
If there is no possible solution to get Win7 Pro installed, I see no other solution than to return the product. Sad, cause this would be perfect in size and it`s quite neat to look at.
I have seen a few posts regarding similar problems, and i have also seen a few with quite similar laptops with same problems has found "workarounds". But none has worked for me so far. At the moment I am stuck in the install where it prompts me for USB/CD drivers.
I would be very greatful if someone has found a solution which will work for this computer. Can perhaps USB 3.0 drivers for other models work for this model, maybe? (just a quick tought...)
