Re: IdeaPad 310-15IKB camera isn't working

Hello

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

See if you are able to press FN + F8, it might be different on your unit, but I believe this is usually the function key for the camera enable/disable.

Also, Try to download the Graphics and Chipset drivers for the unit from the support page.

Make sure to reboot after an update on the unit.

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.

Re: IdeaPad 310-15IKB camera isn't working

i tried the Fn+F8 and i downloaded everything. it just won't work. when i open the camera app it says we can't find your camera error code: 0xA00F4244(0xC00DABE0)

Skype does'nt say much, but it won't detect any camera.

again, i downloaded the drivers but it won't show any camera driver at device manager or in lenovo settings.

I really don't know what to do.

Re: IdeaPad 310-15IKB camera isn't working

Hello Ed93

Thanks for using the Lenovo forums.

Has the camera ever worked before?

It may well be that the camera connection is not connected properly, causing it to not even show in device manager.

Have a go at trying a full factory reset, this should help you reset the unit to original factory settings.

If the issue should persists, then it would indicate a hardware issue.

In this case, if you are within 30 days of purchase(depending on retailer/country) you may be able to get a replacement/refund if you return the unit to your place of purchase.

Otherwise, if the factory reset fails to resolve the issue and you are out of 30 days of purchase, I would recommend, that you call your local Lenovo support line for a possible service. Below is the link to the phone list where you can find these numbers

Hope this helps, let us know how you get on.
