I purchased this product yesterday and I would like to know if it is true that this model 81BG0080PB comes with 4gb onboard RAM and also has 1 free slot for DDR4 sodimm upgrade?
If it does have an unoccupied RAM slot, what RAM can I use? Will any up to 8gb DDR4 2133 SODIMM stick work?

Welcome to the Community Forums.
16GB max / 2133MHz DDR4, dual-channel capable, optional
4GB memory soldered to systemboard, one DDR4 SO-DIMM socket
Model 81BG0080PB have part number 5B20P99158 description: MB L81BJ I58250U UMA D4G NFP NOK showing soldered onboard 4GB RAM (red) and one available (green) DDR4 SO-DIMM socket. You can use any 4GB/ 8GB ram stick to upgrade shown here in parts lookup page (click memory on commodity type).
OEM recommended RAM as example aside from those listed in the hardware manual page 70-71 item 5:
PN 01FR301 8G DDR4 2400 SODIMM
PN 01AG843 8GB DDR4 2666 SoDIMM,Ramaxel
PN 01AG824 8GB DDR4 2666 SOIMM, Hynix
PN 01AG818 8GB DDR4 2666 SoDIMM,Ramaxel
PN 01AG812 8GB DDR4 2666 SoDIMM,MICRON
Other ram with same specification should also work but always check on the return options just in case.
I hope this helps answer your query.
