My IdeaPad just suddenly turned off while I was playing a game. AC adapter was plugged in is so I guess battery is fully charded.
When I press power button, the power led lights up. It doesn't blink or anything. It lights constantly. But nothing else happens. No sound or anything. When I press and hold the power button the led turns off after a few seconds.
When I connect ac adaptor the ac led turns on (white). It doesn't blink or anything. I guess it means that the battery is full.
I've tried to hold the power button for a few seconds (as a lot of people suggest here) but it doesn't change a thing.
Please help me. This laptop is 8 months old. The battery is non removable.

That exact same think happened to me today (12-9, in the afternoon). I was working in Word, suddenly the laptop shut down and won't boot up again. Also pressing the NOVO-button doesn't bring me to the NOVO-menu.
Faulty update maybe?

UPDATE: Solved the issue by doing the following:
1. Unplug the charger / adapter.
2. Press and hold the Power Button for 15 seconds.
3. Plug in the charger / adapter and try powering up the system to see if the problem was resolved.

In my case novo button works the same as power button. So it lights up the power led and... that's it. Nothing more happes.
There was no update so that shouldn't be the case.
EDIT: your steps didn't help. A tried it dozens of times.

Hi, I own this laptop that is still under warranty and was not accepted for warranty. The problem is the same, only the power light lights up. Is there really no solution? do you sell such bad products?
