As stated in the subject, when I got my new laptop and went through all the updates and finally returned to it, it had caused my fingerprint sensor to no longer work. When inspected through Device Manager, it throws Error Code 31: it states that the driver is up-to-date but Windows has failed to load the driver properly. With either restarting, removing and updating drivers, or reinstalling windows, I have failed to develop a manner of fixing this. Any help would be lovely. Thanks in advance!
