IdeaPad L340-15IWL - Drivers Problems

Hello, I'have just brought a new laptop (IdeaPad L340-15IWL). I install a clean version of Windows 10 Pro x64, but i can't install the drivers. When I install one driver from Lenovo site, i get the following message: "Bluetooth Driver was not installed. Please see C:\Drivers\Bluetooth Drivers\PnpUtilResult.txt for more details."

The text from that file it's the following: "return code 1". This happens for all the drivers.

Can you help me?

Re: IdeaPad L340-15IWL - Drivers Problems

Thanks for your answer. I've used the system update software, but it doesn't detect the drivers, only the bios update which i have done it.  Using the automatic update from the site i get the same thing. Yet i didn't install any drivers because i can't.image.pngimage.png

Re: IdeaPad L340-15IWL - Drivers Problems

Hi SabinRO.

PnPUtil is supported on Windows Vista and later versions of Windows. PnPUtil is not available for Windows XP, however, you can use the Driver Install Frameworks (DIFx) tools to create and customize the installation of driver packages.

Please try to locate PnpUtilResult.txt form C:\Drivers\Bluetooth Drivers\PnpUtilResult.txt, and delete the PnpUtilResult.txt file only.
Reboot the laptop, and tell us how it goes.

Or try the TS below.

PnPUtil (PnPUtil.exe) is a command line tool that lets an administrator perform the following actions on driver packages:

  • Adds a driver package to the driver store.

  • Installs a driver package on the computer.

  • Deletes a driver package from the driver store.

  • Enumerates the driver packages that are currently in the driver store. Only driver packages that are not in-box packages are listed. An in-box driver package is one which is included in the default installation of Windows or its service packs.

Where can I download PnPUtil?

PnPUtil (PnPUtil.exe) is included in every version of Windows, starting with Windows Vista (in the %windir%\system32 directory). There isn't a separate PnPUtil download package.

  • Open a Command Prompt window (Run as administrator).
  • Type pnputil /? to view command options. See PnPUtil Command Syntax for more information.

Regards.

Re: IdeaPad L340-15IWL - Drivers Problems

Thank you for your reply. I managed to solve the problem by updating the windows. Apparently I used an older version when i created the bootable stick.
Everything works fine now.

And we're back...

Move delayed but still coming
