If you could update me on whether your cable works that would be great. In my case, my cable didn't end up working. When powered on, the power button lights up but the computer never turns on. After that, the button stops glowing. No luck here I'm just gonna go and buy a large nvme ssd.

Still having problems getting the parts. On September 20, Encompass informed me that they were both in stock but then two days later they were back to 60 days ETA so I'm still waiting. They seem to be at the mercy of the manufacturer. Sorry yours didn't work out. I don't know why it wouldn't if it has the right number of pins. You can't even get to the BIOS?

Yes, it's working. The bracket didn't come with screws but I had just enough of the right ones. So, the normal waiting time seems to be two months but, because of a mixup, mine took three months but I'm glad I waited.

Just ignore that, place your order and be patient. I think the ETAs are just someone's best guess. In the three months while I was waiting, they were all over the place. The first time I was supposed to get them, the ETA was down to 1 day and then suddenly back up to 60. This time, I got an E-mail saying ETA 45 days and two days later, they were in stock.

Saw that on a previous post.
I have ordered and received the specific item. It dont fit and the part number on the cable is for an older lenovo model. Im in contact with the manufacturer to resolve the issue. There are other items on aliexpress that do match based on the part number.
