Ideapad 100-15IBY 80MJ - Digital TV is not full screen

Hi!

When I connect FULL HD digital TV (or projector) via HDMI, the image on the TV does not fill the entire screen. This happens when I use the mode "duplicate screen". If I connect only the digital TV, all OK, the image on the full screen.
I have tried in the Intel HD Graphics driver settings to change the position of "scaling". But I saw only one option out there - "in the middle". There are no other options.
We tried windows 7 and 10, as well as various drivers (Lenovo and Intel) - there is a problem.

Our company has several laptops of different companies, multiple projectors and televisions. Nowhere is this problem we do not observe.

By the way - if I do this:
- Change the screen resolution to a smaller
- I go to settings and changing the built-in monitor and scaling to "stretch to full screen"
- Then again returns the standard resolution
So in this case, the image on the digital TV right - the whole screen.
But as soon as I turned off and then turn on the TV or laptop, then I again see the problem.

Those. problem in the driver. Please help, because we can not use a laptop for presentation. But that is why we bought him.

Thank you,
Egor

Hi Egor,
The duplicate screen will always use the main screens setting so on a larger display this will happen. Have you tried setting the TV as the Primary Display?

Re: Ideapad 100-15IBY 80MJ - Digital TV is not full screen

Hi!

I can not make the TV as Primary Display. It can only on "Extend displays" mode. But in "duplicate mode" internal display is always the first.

I understand that the resolution of the built-in display and TV do not match.
The problem is that the driver does not have options "expand screen" or "fill screen". Although in another notebooks have this option.

Thanks
