Ideapad 100 - Mouse stops working.

I have Lenovo Idaepad 100. The mouse has suddenly stopped working. On my friends Toshiba laptop you just have to press the Fn button and it starts again. Doesn't seem to work on my laptop.

Mod's Edit: Additional information added to Subject line for clarity of issue and moved to the proper forum.
