Please help, Lenovo ideapad 100 does not see or recognized any plugged in USB.   I have tried all  available options to me but nothing seems to work.

Re: Ideapad 100 USB

Hi there, Papa             -

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

I used the Novo key at start up to get into the BIOS, then reset the settings.  When the computer rebooted, all my files and programs were fine BUT my USB ports were working again.

Please go through this link.

Update us how it goes.

Regards,

Re: Ideapad 100 USB

I have the Ideapad 110 and the USB 2.0 port stopped working on day 2 of having it. I tried your recommending here Shashi and that did not work. I've removed all the USB settings under Device Manager and allowed windows to pick it up and reinstall the drivers, no go.

- I've reinstalled the drivers myself, no go.

Any other ideas?

Re: Ideapad 100 USB

Hi there, Zere  -

Thank you for writing in to the Lenovo Forum - happy to have you here today.

First check if the USB ports are enabled in BIOS option. If it is disabled then enable it and restart the computer, and check if USB ports are working. If this does not resolve the problem, then try fix it tool from Microsoft. It will fix the USB problem automatically, click the below link. Then click Run in the File Download dialog box, and follow the steps.

If this also does not resolve your issue, then there might be some infections which can cause problems with USB ports. Scan your PC using antivirus and check you can access USB ports.

Update us how it goes.
