Ideapad 100 Wont accept password

I have had the Ideapad for 2 years with no problems, went to log on yesterday with my password and was told it is incorrect, I know it is not for definite.

 

I also now get " just a moment " spinning for a long time.

 

i also cannot get the pic to start in safe mode at all.

 

I feel like throwing this out the window never to buy Lenovo again, anyone got any idea on how to correct this error?

Welcome to the Community,

 

May we know the OS currently running on your laptop? Seems to be an OS related issues. The "Just a moment" message, does it appear after entering the password, or when you turn on your laptop? Try a power drain,

Windows 10, OS 1709, updated on 22/11/18.

 

Cannot find a way of getting past login.

 

The wait a moment takes 3 minutes to come on when I boot up the PC then finally asks for password, I then enter what I know to be correct and get told it is incorrect.
