I got a Lenovo ideapad 100S two days ago and I have finally started attempting to installing things I had on my previous laptop: starting with my Yeti Blue Microphone.
I have an issue with how they're recognised on my laptop and yet they still don't work for recording programs or even the voice recorder app on windows that comes installed. I've looked at devices/recording devices/sound manager on my laptop and my Yeti mic does show up as a device that's plugged in. When I make a noise, say a clap or just a cour of words, the sound level bar only goes green for the laptop microphone and not on the bar for my Yeti. I've checked properties and it says that my usb mic is working well. I've gone and done other things (suggested by folks on audacity, on google, on other forums) but none of them seem to work! I've also tried it with a different mic (a samson GoMic) and it still isn't working on my laptop!
