Ideapad 100s 80R2 UK plug

Hi, my son has broken the 3 pin plug part of the power adaptor for his ideapad. Is there any where I can get just the 3 pin slide adaptor? Sorry if it has a real name I don't know what it is called!

Cheers, Toms dad.

Re: Ideapad 100s 80R2 UK plug

Hello Toms dad

In addition to Shashi, you can go to the link below and purchase the charger from there. All you need to do is change the language to English and input the s/n of the unit (laptop/tablet) and this will bring up the parts your can purchase for the unit inincluding the charger.

Hope this help you and let us know how you get on

I have had those slidey adapters on power supplies for external USB disks.  Unfortunately, I suspect that you will have to purchase a complete replacement power supply for your Lenovo, and not just the slidey adpater.  As far as I am aware, there is no international or Euro standard for slidey adapters, so you are unlikely to be able to purchase one from a different source.

The power supply for my Lenovo has the UK plug attached to the power supply via a detachable mains cable, so it is easy to replace if it gets broken.  But some Lenovo systems have the "all in one" power supply arrangement.  It is an improvement?  Hmm, possibly not.
