Ideapad 100s - Touch Pad problems

I have a Lenovo Ideapad 100S and I am unable to use my keyboard and touchpad simultaneosly. This is a major problem becuase I can't use programs that require me to use both. When i go to the menu it doesn't show any icons or meters that allow me to enable the keyboard and touchpad at the same time. I looked online on how to enable this but I have no such option. Please help!

Re: Ideapad 100s - Touch Pad problems

Hi mason784,

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!

Just my thoughts, this might work though.

Right Click on Synaptics Pointing Device then go to Pointing Device Properties > Go to Device Settings Tab > Settings > Go to Pointing Category > Go to PalmCheck Sensitivity > Set it to Minimum

Re: Ideapad 100s - Touch Pad problems

I have an ideapad 100 too and theres no "pointing category" theres "one finger" "Multy finger" then " Advanced" but theres no palm check; There is however a "palm tracking" in the "Advanced" category sadly theres no way of adjusting it(at least not on my computer...)
