Ideapad 110-17ACL ACPI driver

Hi all!

I would like to get some helping for installing the ACPI driver to my Ideapad 110-17ACL pc.

I recently installed the windows 7 64 bit version to the pc. After it I downloaded all the driver which I found on the lenovo site to this pc. (unfortunately mainly they were to windows 10). I installed as many as I can, then I checked the device manager, and there were some items in the other devices.

I tried to install a driver founder which helped a bit, but still there are some items in the other devices. The pc says they are two unkown devices, which hardware identification:

1. ACPI\MSFT0101
*MSFT0101

2. root\LenovoVhid

Furthermore there is a warning triangle among the system tools. This is the Lenovo ACPI-Compliant Virtual Power Controller. This code number is 39.

Can you send me a link where can I find a right driver for it? I found 2 version but when I tried to install they loaded "preparations" (installshield part) but after it nothing happened.

Re: Ideapad 110-17ACL ACPI driver

This might address your acpi issue.

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/000006765.html

For your other issue, download win 8.1 energy management

 https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-IdeaPad-100-305-500-Edge/Flex-14-Win-7-Driver-quot-ROOT-LENOVOVH...

-or- power management

https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-P-Y-and-Z-series/Lenovo-ACPI-Compliant-Virtual-Power-Controller-...

You will have to sort out energy vs power and find the most current version.
